I always felt that the act of giving new life to discarded items has a positive vibe to it.
When I needed a storage box for my colour pens I looked through my cupboards and drawers to find something suitable. I chose an old chocolate box made out of sturdy carton which was just the right size.
However, I thought it needed a spark so I came up with this quick and easy idea.
I cut some pages out of old magazines, and used my stamps to print flowers over the text. I cut these in smaller pieces and glued them all over the inside and outside of the box. I gave it a coat of varnish for protection and finally attached a button and some elastic thread to create a fastening.
