The pink flowers colour palette

From nature to product

When I work on creating paper jewellery I often go back to my own photo archive for inspiration. I like to use my photos to create a colour palette for my designs.

By pixelating a photo I extract the basic hues that make up the image. Then I go about choosing the exact colours I want to use by keeping those that work well together for my design and eliminating the rest.

A bouquet of romantic flowers is the inspiration for this pink colour palette. The end product is an up cycled bangle made entirely with paper cut out from magazines.
